All PHARMATest friability testing Instruments meet the latest requirements of the USP monograph and EP
Tablet Tester Series
PTFE and PTFER, single or double drum Tablet Friability Test instruments. Both are available as fixed or variable speed instruments and are manufactured in compliance to the monographs of the USP , European EP and other Pharmacopoeias. The PTFE Instruments are manufactured with either one or two drums, both Friability (“Roche”) and (optionally) Abrasion drums are available. AS a Friabilty Tester is often used in production its stainless steel housing fits ideally.
Magnetic Tablet
The PT-MT3 instrument, the new Magentic Tablet with built-in calibrated load cell, is used to qualify and calibrate the maximum hardness result detection and speed/force increase rate of most Tablet Hardness Test Instruments in the field.
PTF 10 E Friability Tester
PTF10E and PTF10ER
Single Drum , Fixed or Variable Speed Friabilitor
The PTF10E instrument is a basic single drum tablet friability tester. The drum rotation speed is fixed at 25 rpm with an accuracy of +/- 1 rpm (PTF10E) or variable within 20 – 70 rpm (PTF10ER). The total testing time can be set from 1 to 9999 seconds, or alternatively, set the total number of drum revolutions over the range of 1 to 9999. The PTF10E/ER will accept both the conventional “Roche” drum for Friability Testing as well as the Abrasion Test drum (with lamellas). The instrument can be equipped with the current 10° angle as specified by the USP , EP for larger tablets of 13mm diameter or greater.
